Welcome

Jennifer & Matt...true love.

Bit by bit, I am getting caught up on all of my editing. I am so excited to post this wedding on the blog, finally! I know Jennifer and Matt are excited too! I'm not going to write a book about this wedding but I will say that this couple is truly in love and they have a great family and network of friends that support them. My absolute favorite thing about this wedding was learning that the brides bouquet was wrapped in a portion of her mothers sleeve from her wedding gown the day she married her father. Enjoy!

To start out I wanted to share some of Jennifer's stunning bridal session photos :)

And now on to the big day...

Kaitlin and Gary....a fabulous wedding!

I guess one of the reasons I'm so excited about this wedding is that Kaitlin and I are cousins. We have the same great grandparents. They had 3 children, and two of them were girls. Those two girls later became parents to our fathers and grandparents to us. So, I am obviously a little partial to my sweet, beautiful, stunning, outgoing and precious little cousin, Kaitlin. Congratulations on your marriage. I wish you and Gary all the best in your journey through life together as husband and wife. I was honored and elated to have been the one to capture your special day. I had a wonderful time and I am in love with the outcome. I pray that you will be as moved by the photographs as I am. Thank you again and I love you both.- Heather

Now, to start out, here's the day's lineup:

Church: Damascus Baptist Church, Appling, GA
Bridal Salon: House of the Bride (Surrey Center)

I also wanted to share this photograph of our great grandparents, Guy and Nelle "Nanny" Blanchard. This is where it all started on our side of the family :)
I absolutely love this photo.
I also wanted to share some of Kaitlin's bridal portraits. They were so much fun and I love the feathers!!!

Chelsea & Mark- Charleston Wedding

I have been wanting to get these photos up so bad and I'm so glad I can finally share them with everyone. As I mentioned in a previous post, my computer was being repaired (brand new Macbook Pro - crashed!) and I have been feverishly editing and trying to get caught up on all of the wedding awesomeness from April and May!

I was so blessed and fortunate to be hired by Chelsea and Mark to photograph their amazing Charleston   wedding back in May. They had a very intimate and beautiful ceremony at the historic Rice Mill in Charleston, on the harbor. I was floored when I saw the venue. Every little detail was so carefully thought out and the colors were stunning. Speaking of stunning.......Chelsea and Mark both are very attractive individuals! I was able to meet up with them a couple of times before the big day to talk about details and get to know them better before the big day. They are quite an incredible pair and I was really excited to make the trip to Charleston to document all of it!

Chelsea and Mark: I hope you enjoy these photos here and I pray that it brings you great joy and helps you to revisit that special day when you both declared your love for one another and vowed to travel through this life side by side as husband and wife. Congratulations again and I wish you both the very best! Thank you again for this unbelievable opportunity! Much love- Heather

Now, let's start out with a couple of bridal portraits and don't forget to check out the slideshow at the end!
